16th All India BSNL T-20 cricket tournament was inaugurated at DMW Stadium by Sh Haridas K.V Deputy Manger SBOP. This auspicious function commenced with the lighting of the lamp, Ganesh vandana and flag hosting ceremony. On this occasion, General Manager Telecom Patiala Sh Rohit Sharma gives a warm welcome speech. Chief General Manager Telecom Pb Circle Sh M.S Dhillon presided over the function and gave examples of true sportsmanship and team spirit.
While declaring the 16th All India BSNL Cricket tournament open, Sh Haridas K.V Dy MD SBOP remarked that Sports unites us, helps us enhance teamwork. In order to promote sports and bring about physical and mental development of BSNL Staff the T-20 tournament is being organized.
Sh Jagmahinderji DGM(EF) & Sh Shiv Singh DGM (SCT) from Corporate office DELHI are observers for the tournament. Sh Ashok Kumar AD(SPORTS) Secretary , Sh G.S Sood AD (O.L) Jt Secretary are representative of Punjab Circle Sports & Cultural for the execution of the tournament.Sh G.S Sahota General Manager Telecom,Chandigarh , Sh Sandeep Diwan General Mangaer (CM &Mktg) pb circle,are among the esteemed guests in the inauguration ceremony.

The league matches on the inaugural day are started at 10:30 am at DMW STADIUM, PUNJAB VS UTTRAKHAND AND HARYANA VS BIHAR at Army Stadium. And at 13.30 pm at DMW STADIUM NTR Delhi VS Assam and Andhrapradesh Vs Gujarat at Army Stadium.In first league match , Punjab won the toss and decides to bat first. Ankur Kakar captain of punjab team played extremely well scored 99 runs , Sudesh played equally good and scores 92 runs, Mohan Singh played tremendously and given all rounder performance by scored 37 from 12 balls and took 4 wickets by giving 25 runs Punjab team won the match by 137 runs. On the other hand, Uttrakhand team make 112 runs .
In second league, Bihar won the toss and elected to bat but they were bowled out 30 runs in 10 overs. Kuldeep Diwan bowled well and take 6 wickets by giving 15 runs.In reply Haryana achieve the target in 2.4 overs and won the match by 10 wickets.
In Second half ,3rd league match was played between AndhraPradesh and Gujrat at Army Stadium .AP won the toss and elected bating and has made 90 runs .Santosh Reddy remains not out and made 52 runs.In reply Gujarat has made 92 runs for one wicket in 13.1 overs and won the match by nine wickets.
In 4th League match was played between NTR Delhi and Assam at DMW STADIUM. NTR Delhi won the toss and elected to bat first and made 164 runs by 4 wickets. .Joginder Singh has taken 5 wickets from delhi , Assam has made 32 runs and delhi won the match by 133 runs.
On the Second day of the 16th All India BSNL T-20 cricket tournament the league matches started at 09:00 am at Cricket HUB Focal point, UP(East) Vs Bihar And Andhra Pradesh VS Odisha at Army Cricket Ground. And at 13:00 pm at Cricket HUB Madhya Pradesh VS Utrakhand and Delhi Vs UP (West) at Army Cricket Ground..
In first league match at Army Cricket Ground AP won the toss and decide to bat first. AP score 73 runs in 20 overs
after the loss of 8 wickets. Nirajan from odisha team take 3 wickets by giving 13 runs in 4 overs.In reply Odisha score 79 in 6.5 overs.Mohapatra played well and score 42 and remains not out.Odisha won the match by 9 wickets.
In second league,at cricket hub ,UP(East) Vs Bihar . Bihar won the toss and opted for bowling first.UP (East) score 185 for 4 wickets in 20 overs.Sunil played well and scored 92 runs.Anshul played equally well shown the all round performance by scoring 71 runs and taken 3 wickets.In reply Bihar made only 89 runs.Highest score made by Brijesh is 35 in 39 balls and taken 3 wickets.UP (East) won match by 96 runs.
In Second half ,3rd league match was played between Delhi and UP (West) at Army Cricket Ground .Delhi won the toss and opted bowling.UP scored 111 in 19.2 overs .Nitin fom delhi team take 4 wickets (including hatrick). In reply, Delhi made 114 runs for 3 wickets in 16.3 overs .Sanjeev made 42 runs .Delhi team won the match by 7 wickets.
In 4th League match was played between Madhya Pradesh and Utrakhand at Cricket HUB ,Focal point. Utrakhand won the toss and elected to bat first and made 109 runs by 8 wickets. V joshi made 37 runs and Shantnu take 3 wickets. In reply, MP made 115 runs .G.Satish made 56 runs and Madhypradesh won the match by 9 wickets.
